I acknowledge that I live, study, and paint on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Eastern Kulin Nation. I pay my respects to their Elders past and present, and acknowledge that First Nations people have been making art on this continent for more than 60,000 years: the longest continuing artistic tradition in the world. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
